Artist in Residence,
We are proud to collaborate with and showcase our local artists of the Monterey Bay area. We invite guests to enjoy their art-work located throughout HOTEL 1110 premises. Roman Loranc’s fine black-and-white photography is tastefully mounted in our common areas and dining hall, while Ms. William’s artistic skills speak through our crafty furnitures and fixtures of the lobby and each of our guest rooms.

MONTEREY BAY AQUARIUM,
Historic Cannery Row
2.1 miles from Hotel
The Monterey Bay Aquarium (MBA) was founded in 1984 and sits along historic sardine cannery on Cannery Row. Centrally located around many other activities, entertainment and dining.
This world-class attraction, with over 6,000 species on display, receives around 2 million visitors annually.
Marine life on exhibit lives in fresh ocean water brought in through the aquarium’s pipes leading directly into the Pacific Ocean. The multi-level facilities showcase native species of the Monterey Bay including sea-otters, sharks, stingrays, bluefin & yellowfin tuna, kelp, and many more. The Monterey Bay Aquarium is more than an exhibit of marine life directed to the public; it also makes strong efforts in preservation of local ocean waters and creating environmental awareness.

"Each room is themed and we stayed in the Audrey Hepburn room during our recent visit. It was such a cute room. All of the rooms are gorgeous. The rooftop bar restaurant is amazing and overlooks the ocean. If you stay anywhere in Monterey, I would suggest you stay at Hotel 1110."
